Luciana Algieri received the M.S. degree in Chemistry in 2012 at the University of Calabria, Arcavacata di Rende (Italy). In 2018 she received her Ph.D., carrying out the Doctoral program in Materials and Structural Engineering and Nanotechnology at the University of Salento, Lecce (Italy) with a thesis on “Development of MEMS technologies for AlN-based Energy Harvesters “. From 2018 to 2020 she was a research at Piezoskin S.r.l, Lecce (Italy), working on piezoelectric sensors and harvester. From 2020 to 2023 she was a post doc at the Center for Biomolecular Nanotechnologies (IIT), Lecce (Italy), working on contact mechanics. She is currently post-doctoral researcher at the University of Salento, Lecce (Italy). Her research is focused on the micro-/nano-fabrication and characterization of soft materials and interfaces, compliant mechatronics and wearables applied to machine elements and medical devices.
